At Boxworth Botanicals our passion is to make skincare creams that are natural and really make a difference.
Staying indoors, hand washing and using sanitisers are currently super important for all of us at the moment and quite rightly so; we want to beat this Virus as soon as we can. I am getting calls from people whose skin is suffering badly as a result of the constant hand washing and chemicals from the gels. This can severely affect the skin; drying it out, making it sore and itchy and is especially so if you suffer, perhaps, from eczema, dermatitis or psoriasis. So, I thought I would explain about some of our natural plant based creams and how they may be able to help you at the moment.

Calendula Cream
Calendula cream is one of our great favourites. It is loved by many people. It is almost fragrance free and is deeply moisturising and healing. It is really useful for eczema, skin infections, very dry sore skin. The cream is light and easy to use all over the body including the face. It is really helpful for post chemotherapy and radiotherapy skin as it helps to heal and reduce the effect of burning. I wouldn’t be without it!

For the last few years I have suffered from eczema on my eyelids. My eyelids would itch and swell and weep and be extremely uncomfortable. The only thing that kept it in check (and I had tried a lot of things) was steroids, and obviously these were not a long-term solution. Then I started applying this cream in place of the steroids, and the change has been remarkable: the eczema has gone. I cannot recommend this cream highly enough, and it is not an overstatement to say that it has changed my life. (I have not written for a review for any purchase before, but I feel this cream merits my first ever review).
Lavender Cream
This cream is really rich, made with English Lavender that is grown in the depths of the countryside; cooling, calming and healing for hands and body. It’s a strong effective blend and beautiful to use. It’s also fabulous for rubbing around shoulders and chest at night time for restful sleep.

Lavender and Tea Tree Cream
This is our unique blend that has fantastic healing properties and is selling fast. It is antiseptic from the Tea Tree but calming with the Lavender. It is more astringent than Lavender Cream on its own but is also good for all of you who don’t want a very floral fragrance.

Nourishing Cream
This is a cream made with Lime, Geranium and Sandalwood Amyris essential oils. It’s a super intensive blend, designed for dry skin including dry winter skin. The cream has an uplifting floral and citrusy fragrance, just like a natural perfume.

Gardeners Hand Cream
This is our strongest cream and is for hands only. It is a proper gardeners hand cream but is also useful for anyone who works outside. The cream has the added benefits of being anti-fungal and a barrier cream. It blends patchouli, which is very healing, and Rosemary which is antiseptic and will heal cracks and splits. It has a wonderful herbal smell.
